14th of April Birchenough Bridge to Zimbabwe Monument

The Birchenough Bridge is the largest is Africa and was the third largest single arch suspension bridge in the world at 1080 feet when it was built in 1935. The bridge designer Ralph Freeman did the structural design on the Sidney harbour bridge and the two look very similar although this bridge is only 2/3 as long.
You guessed it another puncture

We make it to the Great Zimbabwe Monument.

Its a great campsite, but no one uses it. The toilet block has not been touched for years.
A fire is lit, cold beans and beer for starters followed by the Frank special

Franks got a bivi tonight as its getting damp.

We get guards allocated to look after us throught the night. A competition is held to see who can snore the loudest!
